Mohamed Tamimi making good recovery
Sandton Medi-clinic, Monday 21st October 2018: We visited our young hero Mohamed Tamimi in hospital this morning. He is responding well to the surgical treatment received.
We applaud the entire medical team on a job well done. They are proud examples of South Africans who give real expression to Madiba’s spirit of sacrifice and caring for one’s fellow man especially the most vulnerable amongst us.
Mohamed Tamimi was in a positive spirit and delightfully told me about how excited he was to visit the two larger than life statues of Madiba in Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton and Nelson Mandela Square in Tireh District on a hilltop overlooking Ramallah. We promised to take him to the third memorial site viz the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
Mohamed Tamimi and his celebrated cousin Ahed Tamimi symbolise the resilience of this generation who on a daily basis face the brutality of the Apartheid Israeli regime.
We call on the Apartheid Israel regime to desist from harming, maiming and killing our innocent children.
